Our Farm
The family farm is just outside Newquay, my parents who run the farm are retired Organic dairy farmers and we have Cattle, Sheep, Goats, Horses, miniature horses and a mix of different poultry living on the farm. In the spring we hand rear orphan lambs and in the summer months we often have chicks or ducklings that have hatched in the incubator.
The farm is set in the Valley and is a real idyllic spot with a river running through the land and a small woodland.
Meet Victoria
I grew up on a farm so I have been happily
surrounded by a menagerie of animals since before I can remember and they have always made me happy.
Even when I couldn’t get outside on the farm and be with the real animals my chosen games inside were playing with my farm animal set or my various animal teddies and if I could sneak the animals that should be living outside inside then that was even better.
Since starting a family of my own I have seen the joy that animals bring through my daughters eyes (she is all about the chickens!) and it has made me want to share this with more people especially people in the community that can really benefit from the calm and happiness and healing qualities animals have to offer.
Whenever we have had Friends and family members come to visit they always get the grand tour of the farm to see all the animals followed by a walk up to the woods and by the river, everyone always loves it whether it be the calm that walking by the river in the quiet of the countryside brings or the love and giggles that the animals have to offer it always puts a smile on peoples faces which made me realise that we should be sharing this experience with more people.
Did you know…
When I was little I had a pet chick called Jeremy, he lived in the house with us and when we went on holiday he had to go and stay with Granny and Grandad, there he sat on Grandads shoulder and watched tv with him every night!!
As a child one of my hobbies was calf showing, we actually went to calf showing competitions! Awards given for best turned out calf, we even used hairspray to make their hair look its best and oil on their hooves to make them extra shiny, the calves loved being pampered!!

Our farm wouldn’t be the same without our wonderful animals! Each one has their own personality, from our cheeky miniature horses to our gentle goats.
