Meet the Team

The Best Therapists Have Feathers & Fur

We have lots of different animals on the farm some to be perfectly honest are more friendly than others!

To name a few, Jet and Esme the miniature horses and Grace the goat would happily be loved all day long but you will be lucky if Indie the cob even looks at you!

Miniature Horses

Jet, our American miniature horse, is a handsome chap, he loves a good scratch on the shoulder.

Esme, our other American miniature horse, is our youngest crew member she is a little bit cheeky and prefers to have all of the attention for herself. She particularly loves a good bottom scratch!

Goats

Grace and the gang- The Boer Goats. All our goats like a fuss but Grace is the sweetest she loves a good cuddle

Horses

April and Indie– Our cobs. As I mentioned before Indie is not one for love and cuddles but is happy to be admired from a distance! April on the other hand loves people and although she is big she is very gentle and will stand still all day to be scratched and patted.

Cows

The cows- Bingo, Socks and Mable. These lovely ladies are normally off grazing in the fields but if they do come up to the gate they all love a fuss and are very partial to a treat! You will be surprised how far a cow’s tongue can reach when it’s after a delicious morsel!

Depending on the time of year they may also have calf at foot.

The Poultry

We have Chickens, Ducks, Geese and Turkeys on the farm. Some have names and some don’t, some are friendly and some aren’t! But I have pictured a couple of our favourites including Twurkey the turkey who doesn’t mind a stroke and Colin the cockerel and his ladies Lucy, Stripe, Fluffykins, Tiny and Rosie who will come running if we have a snack for them!

The Dog Crew

Steven and the dog crew – Steven deserves a special mention as he is my baby boy and is such a gentle kind boy, he is however not the bravest when it comes to the farm animals so he normally stays at a safe distance from them! Steven is an optional extra if you want to meet him, he will be thrilled but if you don’t he won’t be offended. The other dogs on the farm include Max and Buster. They are normally off doing their thing but if you want to meet them you can!

If you are lucky and you come at the right time of year you might get to meet some baby lambs and chicks too.

What we offer

We offer private, pre-bookable sessions where you can spend quality time with our animals, enjoy the countryside, and experience the calming benefits of nature.
